TEDxColumbus, Viewing Events

Thanks for supporting TEDGlobal!

Wednesday, about 25 people spent the day (or part of their day) at Columbus College of Art & Design sharing in the plethora of ideas from TEDGlobal.

We heard about “Everyday Rebellions” ranging from an Anti-extremism activist, Maajid Nawaz to turning your privacy into artwork with Hasan Elahi. “Emerging Order” was illustrated by sand artist Joe Castillo. Comedian, Robin Ince entertained and informed us about “Future Billions.” And we were introduced to “The Dark Side” with the first ever computer virus by cybersecurity expert, Mikko Hypponen.

We would like to thank everyone who joined us for the live viewing. And a special thanks to CCAD for hosting the event. We look forward to our next opportunity to share, follow, and fuel ideas in the city of Columbus!

We wanted to be sure to share one of the first talks that have been posted on TED.com. Enjoy this little taste of TEDGlobal with Rebecca MacKinnon. Enjoy!
