Raising Teen Parents
Brooke Ignet Hocker has two last names simply because her mother said all successful business women should have two last names. She is the daughter of parents who got their driver’s license just 16 years before she did. She has the wit of her mother and fearlessness of her father. Brooke joins us on the TEDxColumbus stage as the winner of the Open Call Auditions, and will share a deeply personal perspective on the uniqueness of the stereotypes and realities of helping to raise her parents.
Brooke is currently a leader at a Fortune 100 company in Columbus, OH. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Ohio University, and a Master of Business Administration from Franklin University. She spends her free time working out, practicing yoga, spending time with her husband, and of course…calling her parents.
