Meghna Mahambrey was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. A driven and disciplined student, she also enjoyed expressing her artistic side through singing, dancing, and acting. She went on to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development at Ohio State University, followed by a Master’s degree in Montessori Education at Xavier University.
For eight years, Meghna served as a teacher and administrator of a preschool/kindergarten program alongside her mother, the school’s founder and director. During that time, Meghna was also invited to teach evening classes at Wright State University, where she designed and taught three courses: Child and Adolescent Development, Intimate Relationships, and Human Sexuality.
After five years of teaching at the college-level, Meghna realized that she was most in her element when discussing matters of the heart with young adults, so she returned to Ohio State University to pursue another graduate degree in Human Development and Family Science with a research interest in intimate relationships. She is currently entering her final year of her Ph.D. program, and upon graduation, she hopes to teach full-time at a local university in Columbus while also offering workshops to the general community on the art and science of love.
