Since 1980, Robert D. Brisk has been passionate about changing the world of education. Rob serves as the Head of The Wellington School, an independent school for students in preschool through grade 12. Wellington under Rob’s leadership has developed and commercialized educational technology focused on student engagement and has been named a top workplace in Columbus 4 years running.
Rob previously served as Associate Head and Upper School Head at The Oregon Episcopal School. He began teaching at his alma mater, The Dwight-Englewood School in New Jersey, where he taught Latin, History, English, Ethics, and independent research, and eventually served as the Head of Upper School. Rob developed the Senior Focus program, a capstone experience where students spent a year studying a subject of choice in depth. The program received the National Association of Independent School’s Leading Edge award for innovative curriculum.
Rob earned his bachelor degree in classics from Princeton University and received his Master of Education from Harvard University.
